Sugary soft drinks linked to high blood pressure

Over two thousand five hundred peoople in the UK and USA were involved in this study on the effects of sugery soft drinks on the body. More details can be found here:

This study, though relatively small, is a good start. No doubt, more studies will follow. The findings show even after adjustment - see the article - that there is a link between intake of these drinks and increase in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Personally, I have stopped taking these drinks - including manufactured fruit drinks some months ago. My personal research led me to do so. I do not miss them at all - neither will you. In fact, my waistline is much the better for it. So if you want yours to reduce, cut sugery drinks out entirely - you will not regret it.
